Shirin Gallery is honored to present an exhibition of Shadi Talaei’s works, titled Fragments of Reminiscence.

Shadi Talaei (born 1983 in Tehran) is an Iranian visual artist who began her artistic journey at an art high school. Her interest in typography and Persian letterforms emerged during her Associate degree studies in Graphic Design at Vali-e-Asr University in Tehran. Since 2001, she has been actively engaged in painting and typography. In 2009, Talaei turned her focus to Naqqashi-Khat (Persian calligraphic painting). In recent years, however, her visual language has evolved toward painting as her primary medium, with motifs gradually replacing letterforms as the central structural elements of her works. She received her B.A. in Visual Arts from the University of Science and Culture and her M.A. in Visual Communication from Alzahra University. Her solo exhibitions include “Dance 2275” at Sobhan Gallery, “Knot” at Sohrab Gallery, “The Call of Departure” and “Fragments of Reminiscence” at Shirin Gallery. Her most recent solo exhibition, “Unfinished Flowers” is also presented at Shirin Gallery.
