Biography

Leila Ebrahimzadeh, born in 1976, is an Iranian visual artist with over two decades of experience in
painting and contemporary art. Her work combines traditional techniques with unconventional materials—particularly fabric and thread—blurring the lines between painting, craft, and environmental art.
Her deep-rooted connection with textiles dates back to her childhood, when she began creating fabric
collages using her mother’s sewing scraps. That early exploration laid the foundation for a unique artistic path defined by texture, memory, and material reuse.
