
Arezoo Khanpour, born in 1985 in Tehran, is a glass artist, researcher, and educator. She holds a BA in Handicrafts from Kashan University, an MA in Handicrafts from Alzahra University, and a PhD in Art Research from the same institution. As an assistant professor at Tabriz Islamic Art University and a core member of the Glass Art department within the Faculty of Traditional Arts, Khanpour has spent the past two decades working as both an artist and designer in the field of glass art. Her research focuses on the history of glass in Iran and worldwide, with numerous published articles exploring this subject. Her academic and artistic interests lie at the intersection of glass art history, glass education, and contemporary artistic movements. Her installation series The Empty Place of a Dream is a deeply personal body of work, shaped by her own lived experiences and brought to life through glass, a material that has long been part of her artistic and personal journey.
