Asia Contemporary Art Week

In conjunction with our current exhibition, Bits and Pieces: Collages and Assemblages, featuring the work of Shaqayeq Arabi and Fereydoun Ave, Shirin Gallery NY is pleased to participate in the 10th edition of Asia Contemporary Art Week (ACAW) ) – A dynamic platform that connects over 40 New York and Asia based art institutions to present cutting-edge exhibitions, innovative projects, provocative dialogues and festivities citywide.

ACAW 2015 organizes two signature programs: Lee Mingwei’s Sonic Blossom, which will transform The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s galleries into an intimate stage with personalized performances with Shubert’s Lieder for ten days (Oct 30-Nov 8) and FIELD MEETING Take 3: Thinking Performance- an exclusive art forum, staging lecture-performances, talks and discussions with over 30 keynote figures, Sat. Oct 31 hosted at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Sun. Nov 1 at Hunter College Art Galleries and Mon. Nov 2 at Performa Hub.
