Golnaz Ghadiri, born in 1980, is a painter from Tehran. As a child she started painting at the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults.
In her teenage years , she painted in the studio of Touran Zandiyeh, where the first sparks of abstract were ignited in her works.
She went on to study painting at Tehran Azad University. Her first solo exhibition was at Golestan Art Gallery a year prior to her graduation.
So far, she has had 9 solo exhibitions and has participated in more than 50 group exhibitions and biennials in her career.
Golnaz also worked in Golestan Art Gallery as gallery manager and assistant for 5 years and for 3 years she was the artistic director of Haft-Negah Exhibition at the Niavaran Cultural Center.
