Biography

Abusaeed Asadi was born in 1984 in Karaj, Iran. From an early age, he became familiar with the world of painting through his deep personal interest in art and the influence of his father’s art books. As a self-taught artist, he began  his  creative  journey by studying artistic resources and observing nature, which he considers his truest teacher. His fascination with impressionistic atmospheres has played a key role in shaping his personal style and visual language. Asadi’s works reflect an ongoing search for a unique expression of nature and the inner experience. Since 2000, Asadi has participated in more than 30 group exhibitions in Iran and abroad. His exhibitions include Abolfotouh Razi Gallery (2000), Ahvaz Museum of Contemporary  Art (2011, 2015),  Shirin Gallery  (2013),  Vista Gallery  (2016),    Negar Gallery (2017), Aknoun Gallery (2019), Seihoun Gallery (2023), Meghsi Gallery (2024), and Artibition Gallery (2024). Internationally, he has exhibited at Abra Gallery in Los Angeles (2012, 2014), Abra Gallery in Miami (2016), World Wide Art Show in Los Angeles (2014), Los Angeles Convention Center (2014), and participated in Izmir and Istanbul Art Fairs (2024 and 2025). Asadi has been recognized with several awards, including the 2nd and 3rd Damoonfar Festival (2007, 2009), the 4th and 5th Youth Art Festival (2008, 2010), the 2nd  Contemporary Drawing Exhibition at the Sandozi Museum (2009), and was selected as part of the New Generation Exhibition (2011, 2013).
